Five areas of execution under one accountable partner. After the assessment, we scope the exact mix your market entry requires — you engage only what you need.
The foundation of every engagement. We size the opportunity, map the competitive and channel landscape across candidate territories, and deliver a clear recommendation on where and how to enter.
We review your certificates, test reports and technical documentation to verify your product can legally be placed on the European market and meets the applicable regulations — and we identify exactly what's missing before you invest.
We don't act as your distributor — we find the right ones. We source and vet distributors and channel partners, then manage them in your name as your European sales operation, with the relationship run and owned by us on your behalf.
Positioning, brand adaptation, launch campaigns and the materials that establish a foreign brand's credibility with European buyers.
The practical European back office — logistics coordination, administrative support and the operational continuity that keeps your market presence running.
We don't ask you to pick services from a price list. We assess first, recommend a territory, and build the engagement around what that entry actually needs.
How we deliver: most of these we handle in-house. Where a task calls for a specialist, we outsource it — but West Office manages it and stays accountable to you. You deal with one office, not a dozen vendors.
Since December 2024, EU law requires every product sold in the EU market to have an EU-based economic operator on record — name and address on the product, packaging, and every online listing. Without it, customs can stop shipments, marketplaces delist products, and serious distributors will not engage with your brand.
West Office acts as your Authorised Representative (AR) and/or GPSR Responsible Person (RP) — never as Importer. We do not take title to your goods and carry no import or customs liability.
Appointed under a written mandate (Art. 4 MSR). Covers GPSR together with other applicable directives — CE, EMC, LVD, RoHS — under a single mandate. One EU contact across your full compliance picture. Does not carry import or customs liability.
Best for: brands that want one EU partner covering GPSR plus CE/electrical compliance, as part of an ongoing EU market-entry relationship.
A narrower, GPSR-specific role focused on safety documentation and acting as the official point of contact for market surveillance authorities. Lighter in scope than a full AR mandate.
Best for: brands that want to get legally compliant quickly, without yet committing to a broader EU partnership.
West Office acts as AR and/or RP — never as Importer. We do not take title to your goods, and we do not carry import or customs liability. Scope and obligations are confirmed in a written mandate before engagement begins.
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 May 2023 on general product safety (GPSR), in force since 13 December 2024, repealing Directive 2001/95/EC.
For manufacturers without an established European identity, we create one from the ground up — a brand conceived for the European market rather than adapted to it.
Naming, design and visual identity, packaging, compliance verification and positioning — every element built to European standards, expectations and taste, ready to compete with local players on equal footing.
Chinese and Asian OEM/ODM manufacturers who need a compliant, credible European presence without establishing their own entity — or who want a European brand built for them from scratch.
Brands entering or scaling in Europe that need local representation, launch execution and on-the-ground market knowledge.
Startups and European companies moving into a new European territory who need a fast, lean and informed route to market.
That's the point of the assessment. Start there, and we'll tell you exactly what your entry requires.
